]]> HALCYON is a 135-acre mixed-use development in Forsyth County, near the Atlanta suburb of Alpharetta. This mini-city will include multi-family residences, hotels, shopping, entertainment, and a connection to the Big Creek Greenway.

Winter will build 11 retail buildings and a six-level parking deck with more than 1,200 parking spaces. Some of the retail buildings will include office space in their upper floors. Winter will also build a small recycling center to serve the development.

Winter built the new seven-story Residence Inn by Marriott located at the Spruill Arts Center in Dunwoody, GA.

Winter constructed this new seven-story, 124-key hotel with an outdoor swimming pool. In addition to the hotel, work included substantial site earthwork, retaining walls, an underground stormwater retention system, and two commercial outparcels.

The project is located on property owned by the non-profit Spruill Center for the Arts. A high-end restaurant and 6,000 square-foot retail space are on the two outparcels.

Winter teamed with HOK Architecture to deliver the design-build of this new luxury brand hotel adjacent to Porsche North America headquarters.

The Solis Hotel is eight stories high with 214 guest rooms and signature suites. The hotel offers refined and approachable restaurants and bars, and 6,500 square feet of event space that includes a 3,600 square-foot ballroom. The rooftop lounge provides guests with a view of the Porsche driver development track, as well as landings and takeoffs at the Airport.

Glass, aluminum, and metal panels define the hotel’s exterior appearance, as a tribute to the sleek and inviting Porsche aesthetic. The hotel’s panoramic view coupled with exceptional amenities provide an unmatched, luxurious stay for guests, visitors, and meeting attendees.

The parking deck has two levels, with a vehicle connection on the bottom level to the Phipps Plaza parking deck and a walking connection for pedestrians on the upper level. The AC Hotel is certified LEED Silver.

Winter completed the phased renovation of this AAA Four-Diamond hotel’s interior public areas, exterior courtyard, and event pavilion just in time for the summer season.

In Phase I, Winter renovated the lobby, registration area, market, lobby bar, grand ballroom, fitness facility, and kids’ room. The remaining areas in Phase II were turned over to the hotel two months after the completion of Phase I and included renovations to the restaurant, the build-out of a new junior ballroom and prefunction area, modifications to the building exterior to transform an indoor pool into a covered pool open to the exterior, transformation of the main courtyard pool into a zero-entry pool, and the assemblage in the courtyard of new landscaping and sidewalks.
